You asked and we listened! Due to the unique serum texture of our Bc Refresh Cleanser, the original bottle pump whilst effective, was not able to be locked into place to stop it leaking i.e. for travel or storage. After customer feedback, we took the initiative and found a better solution to house our incredible Bc Refresh Cleanser.

The bottle has a new luxe look, is bulkier in stature for easy handhold use. It’s updated pump is larger, better performing and allows for a ‘lock in’ system to stop any potential cleanser leak. We believe that this larger aerator pump, gives our Bc Refresh Cleanser the ability to produce a better soft foamy ‘top’ from the hero plant ingredient – soapberry. Importantly it’s also eco-friendly.

As Bc Refresh Cleanser is a unique serum type consistency, the aerator pump assists with lightly activating the plant-based natural saponins within the cleanser to produce a very light, soft fluffy ‘lather’. Once applied to your skin, this gentle ‘lather’ turns into a silky type emulsion that cleanses your skin effectively without stripping or drying the barrier, leaving it soft and refreshed.

No, the cleanser remains the same with soapberry being the hero plant ingredient.

The bottle is 100% PCR – post consumer resin. PCR is a recycled material and offers quality, performance and protection for the product cleanser inside. We are proud to innovate and update our packaging where available for more sustainable packaging.

The aerator pump is made from environmentally conscious, safe, recyclable PP (polypropylene) material.

PCR is a recycled product, however the bottle can go in a recycle bin, along with the box packaging and pump. You can also send your used empty bottle back to us and we will TerraCycle it and gift you a reward for doing so! Alternatively, you can drop it off at any instore recycle beauty box.

Turn the pump and put it into the lock position. This will stop cleanser leak during transit. After locking the top, you may find however, there will be a tiny amount of residue cleanser still in the top of the pump mechanism, this is normal, and we recommend wiping before packing.

We recommend storing the cleanser in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and avoid leaving it for extended periods in shower/wet areas.

Lightly shake bottle before use. Using 2-3 pumps, apply to damp hands and lightly massage over skin and remove with Biologi Microfibre Cloths. Repeat if wearing makeup or SPF.

Use twice a day to build antioxidant protection, strengthen barrier function and promote a healthy skin microbiome.

We don't recommend putting the cleanser near your eyes. While Soapberry is completely natural, the powerful phytonutrients may cause irritation. We recommend using a reusable microfibre pad to remove all eye makeup.

Bc is a serum cleanser. The Soapberry extract contains a natural foaming agent so it has a runny, soapy texture and while it pumps out as a light foam the texture changes to feel silky as you start to cleanse. The Bc Refresh is free from synthetic foaming agents that create the thick, frothy texture and dry out the skin like you might be used to with traditional cleansers so it can take some time to adjust.

The skin is exposed to millions of toxins each day. Removing makeup and surface toxins with our Biologi Microfibre Cloths will allow the cleanser to work more efficiently and remove impurities from the epidermis.

Every day, twice a day! We recommend cleansing in the morning and a double cleanse at the end of the day.

Bc Refresh is free from artificial fragrance and smells exactly like it does in the plant!

This daily cleanser is suitable for all skin types. Due to the highly active and soothing phytonutrients, it's particularly gentle and beneficial for normal-to-dry, sensitive and problematic skin.

Yes. The Bc Refresh Cleanser contains a combination of plant actives that work exceptionally well at improving barrier hydration and assisting with reducing the redness associated with problematic/breakout prone skin. When breakouts are present, they are often red and angry, so the Bc Refresh is a great cleanser to help soothe and ease the redness and severity of breakouts.

We recommend gently shaking the Bc Cleanser before each use to activate the naturally occurring extracts within Soapberry Extract. This also helps to prevent any potential separation which can be normal for this type of serum cleanser.
